Private Lessons
Join us to learn the basics of wheel throwing or handbuilding in a 2 hour private lesson at either of our Brooklyn or Manhattan studios. You will learn everything from set up to clean up, and have time to give it a spin yourself! Each participant may keep 1 piece per lesson, to be completed by our staff and picked up 2-3 weeks after your lesson, party, or event. Additional work may be added on for $20 per piece. The minimum age for lessons is 7.
Rates:
2 hours / 1 person $200
2 hours / 2 people $275
2 hours / 3 people $350
2 hours / 4 people $425
2 hours / 5 people $500
Because lessons with 6 people or more require the entire classroom, groups of this size must book a private event.
Beer and wine sold on site. No BYOB available.
Group Events & Parties
Kids or adults can enjoy a hands-on event guided by a teaching artist who leads the group in a private 2 hour class/party. Whether you're interested in wheel throwing, hand-building, or a combination of the two, let us know what you're looking for and we'll figure out a program to leave your group muddy and happy! Each participant may keep 1 piece per lesson, to be completed by our staff and picked up 2-3 weeks after your lesson, party, or event. Additional work may be added on for $20 per piece. Our current rates are as follows:
Up to 12 people, wheel and/or handbuilding $1250
Up to 24 people, wheel and/or handbuilding $2500
Each classroom can accommodate up to 12 people, larger events are split between 2 rooms.
Beer and wine sold on site. No BYOB available.
Lessons & Parties are available in Brooklyn:
Mon, Tues, Thurs: 9am-6pm
Friday: 9am-9:30pm
Sat, Sun: 7:30pm-9:30pm
Lessons & Parties are available in Manhattan:
Daily 9am-9:30pm
PRIVATE LESSON & EVENT CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
To receive a full refund or to reschedule your private lesson or party, you must notify info@bklynclay.com at least 48 hours prior to the lesson. Within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson or party, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
