For best results with our full color decals, you will want to apply them to a piece that is glazed in a glossy white glaze.
Color of decals may vary based on glaze surface color.Any JPEG image can be turned into a decal although some colors, e.g. bright neon greens and vibrant pinks, are not possible. Please see the example images for an idea of what is possible.
To prepare your images for printing, arrange your images on one 8.25 x 10.75 inch document with a max resolution of 300 dpi in RGB color space. We can print things with a lower resolution, but please be aware that it may appear pixelated in the final piece. If you do not submit the appropriate dimensions we may resize your images.

Decal Application
Prepare the Surface: These on glaze decals are applied to a glazed surface. Ensure your piece has been both bisque and glaze fired, and is clean before applying.
Cut the Decal: Carefully cut around the desired design to remove excess paper.
Soak the Decal: Immerse the trimmed decal in warm water for about 30 seconds until it starts to curl.
Position the Decal: Slide the design off the backing paper and carefully place it face-up onto the ceramic surface.
Smooth & Remove Bubbles: Use a soft tool, squeegee, or damp sponge to gently press the decal from the center outwards, pushing out all water and air bubbles.
Dry Thoroughly: Let the decal dry completely, ideally overnight, to ensure it adheres well.
Fring Schedule
Ramp 1 200°F per hour to 800°F No hold
Ramp 2 285°F per hour to 1634°F Hold 15 minutes
