We have been partnering with RHAP and A Safe Space, two local 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organizations, to provide free classes, workshops, and one-time experiences to our local community. We host a free semester-long kids class to RHAP students on an ongoing basis and, each quarter, we provide a free private class to A Safe Space.
We are now fundraising through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, to expand these partnerships to sponsor additional seats in semester long classes, one-time classes, and workshops at BKLYN CLAY. All participants will be selected by RHAP and/or A Safe Space. All funds raised trough Fractured Atlas via tax-deductible donations will go directly towards covering the cost of these additional classes, workshops, and one-time experiences, while we continue to offer the RHAP semester-long class and A Safe Space quarterly events.
Safe Space is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization. Their mission is to open up accessibility to wellness & mental health through A Safe Space experiences. Their organizations builds power to change systems within marginalized and underserved communities specifically the BIPOC community. Building safe spaces for the community to come as they are and feel empowered in their mental health journey while building community and a support system. Breaking stigma around mental health and creating awareness within our community. A Safe Space creates opportunity for travel, self-care, and mental health through their many wellness retreats, events, and community support groups.
A Safe Space
A Safe Space provides luxury self-care experiences are at no cost, creating a safe space for people to detach from their responsibilities, technology, and societal pressures and come back to themselves. Community, peace of mind, creativity, and connecting back with nature to create a more sustainable future & lifestyle is what we stand for. Wellness experiences & retreats or opportunities to travel can be very expensive & seem out of touch for young adults who have other financial responsibilities. Which is why we create spaces that are accessible & empowering.

Founded in 2009, Red Hook Art Project (RHAP) is a non-profit organization that provides free visual art, music, academic and stress management instruction to children and youth who live in and around Red Hook, Brooklyn. Operating out of their own storefront in the heart of Red Hook, RHAP organizes our community of 30 volunteers—artists, musicians, writers, doctors and other practitioners—to teach and mentor our students on a weekly basis. Our classes are intentionally small, and we strive to give each student individual attention during each class. Our pedagogical approach is rooted in responding to our students interests and needs with special attention to activities that build self-confidence and problem solving skills. We see our program as a fun, enriching, and supportive supplement to the academic curriculum of school.
